How this is built
Each company is placed in one theme from its listed sector, its name or its own description. Companies that cannot be placed are left out rather than guessed. A theme's move is the middle (median) change of its companies priced at $0.02 or more, so one thinly traded stock cannot swing it, and a theme needs at least three companies with a price for the period. Commodity moves use front-month futures or the sector ETF named.
